Reading Practices of Students of the Metropolitan Metropolis: “Amateurs” and “Pragmatists”

چکیده

Modern social processes (globalization, urbanization, digitalization, succession of generations and others) actualize public scientific attention to students’ reading culture, practices their various aspects (gender, social, economic, others). The issue culture reading, practices, features structure is a topical relatively under-developed topic interdisciplinary analysis. These phenomena are considered in sociology within the framework some concepts: as separate type practice process personal literacy formation, through connection cultural heritage class, analysis subjective existential meanings experience, others. It interesting study students due specificity subject-object role this group intergenerational continuity. article highlights results an empirical conducted among Moscow universities. Two types attitudes works fiction revealed: pragmatic value-reflective. characteristics these two groups given, compared with other indicators (love pleasure, volume genres fiction, main conclusions presented publication will be interest teachers, scientists, representatives state organizations specifically students.
